  • Yes! Reading Results is a 501©3 organization, so all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extend of the law. We recommend you talk to your accountant or financial advisor if you have specific questions regarding your tax deductions.

  • We always prioritize direct service expenses (student materials, books, Tutor wages, etc), but individual donations do support general operations, which can include vital items including rent, administration, professional development, and insurance. While these expenses aren’t as exciting, they are essential for Reading Results to provide service. If you would like your donation to be restricted to direct service expenses, please include that as a note when you make a donation.

  • Because all of our Tutors are paid, trained staff, we don’t have many volunteer opportunities. If you are interested in providing a specific volunteer service, reach out to development@readingresultspdx.org. If you are interested in becoming a Tutor, check out our Team Page!

  • Absolutely. When you make a donation online, there is a field for you to let us know. If you prefer to donate via check or EFT, please include that in your paperwork.
