“Kelsey Reese, the school’s foundational skills specialist, worked with Reading Results staff to select students for the program. In addition to reading skills, they consider attendance. Tutoring only works for students who show up to school regularly.

Reese said students love their tutors and have been eager to get to their lessons.

“We’ve seen a lot of joy,” she said.”
